Products Corp. (DAP) is the sales/marketing arm of Grupo JBO S.A. de C.V., a
vertically integrated agriculture company.
Since 1990, DAP has been supplying our
customers with a high-quality, frozen avocado alternative to the high prices and
inconsistent supply of California fresh avocados. |
| Quality begins in our groves. Over 40 years ago, Don Joaquin Barragan planted the first Hass avocado tree in
the Uruapan area. Today, Uruapan, known as "The Avocado Capital of the
World", averages over 2.5 billion pounds of Hass avocado a year. Today, we employ 8 full-time engineers and 350 caretakers who constantly
monitor the soil, water, trees and fruit in our groves. Specialized equipment from the
United States and Europe has been implemented to cultivate, harvest and transport the
fruit before moving on to one of our seven fresh avocado packing facilities or our
processing facilities. Our products are then distributed all over the world.
And now, with two new mango packing facilities, Grupo JBO
offers its customers Haden and Tommy Atkins mangoes with the same quality and service our
customers have come to expect. |
