important items to consider to help maintain the appearance and taste of the product.
Oxygen and temperature are the avocados two biggest enemies. By reducing the products
exposure to air and keeping the temperature of the product less than 65 degrees F (or
lower) you can help maintain the quality of the product. For
best results, frozen product should be allowed to thaw in the refrigerated in the unopened
bag/container. Once thawed, the product should be placed in a serving container (if
this is a bag product), covered with a piece of cellophane (directly on the product), and
should be kept in the refrigerator or cool tray when not in use.
Each product has a specific shelf life, both frozen, and
thawed. Please refer to the product specification sheet for more information.
DO NOT REFREEZE PRODUCT THAT HAS BEEN THAWED. |
