By processing our frozen avocado products
during certain times of the year, we are able to offer our customers a low cost,
consistent quality frozen avocado product all year round. In other words, we process our
frozen avocado products |
| when the quality of the fresh avocado and
the pricing is at it's best. While Mexico cultivates Hass avocados year round, the frozen
avocado processing season has limitations. There are two major factors that must be
considered when producing quality frozen avocado products. The
first is oil content, which is important in order to attain the naturally rich taste of
Hass avocados. Pricing, is also a major consideration to product quality frozen
avocado products that are also very cost effective for our consumers. From the chart above
you can see that our avocado procesing season begins in late September and finishes
sometime during May. |
